Guardian Programme

At Silverleaves Labradoodles we want to provide our dogs with the best life possible. We wouldn't be able to do this without the help of our amazing Guardian families. Placing our breeding dogs into Guardian families ensures our dogs get the individual attention and loving care they deserve. We work closely with our families to ensure our dogs are happy and healthy while also being comfortable coming to us for their litters.

We choose the best puppy of the litter that displays the attributes we want to continue on in our breeding programme. This means Guardian families get the best of the best and the puppy will also be health tested at the appropriate age at our expense. Being a part of the Guardian programme allows us to be ethical breeders and allows you to be part of the breeding journey.

We require Guardian families to be within 30 minutes of Gisborne, Pascoe Vale South or Pakenham. The holding fee for a guardian pup is less than our pet puppy cost and is refunded over time each time the dog has a litter. At the end of the programme, we will desex the dog and she will continue living with you for the rest of their life
